Day 37 – Just doing what we do

Not much to report today, it was one of those days that just happens, and you wonder what happened. What did we do? Not much!

Wake up, work, workout, eat, get toddler to sleep (2nd night without her dummy!), re-pack gym bag, prep outfit for tomorrow, sit down at computer, do a load of washing (gym clothes), shower, bed.

The Step class was a struggle, I was really tired. But I got through it. My calves are still sore, but now my triceps are hurting too! We did tricep work with the bar last night. It’s all good though – pain means I’m getting results! I might even be able to see my baby tricep working! lol

I’m certain my calorie burn was higher, there was a whole track where my HRM wasn’t working! It said ‘check HRM transmitter’. Maybe I bumped it? Not sure.

  1. Nice symmetry on the bruschetta! Mine never looks that presentable! I’ll have to try the cinnamon under the banana instead of over it too. It looks neater. πŸ™‚ Trying those nachos tomorrow night. Yummo.

    • Thanks Heather πŸ™‚ I heard from a friend that putting the cinnamon directly on the cottage cheese helps to bring out the flavour! Sometimes I substitute cream cheese if we’ve run out of cottage cheese, so then I put the cinnamon on top of the banana instead. I like a bit of variety.
How did you like the nachos!!?

      • They weren’t bad actually. I was pleasantly surprised and my husband is happy to put that recipe in the “yes, we can have that one again” pile rather than the “let’s not eat that again” one. πŸ™‚
